Snapping
Overview
Snapping objects to a grid or other objects in a scene is an efficient way to design out a level freely and know pieces will line up. Bypassing the tedious moving of objects into place and relying on a grid for quick design.

Types of Snapping
Grid Snapping
Snap an object to a grid projected along the X, Y, or Z axes. This is only available while using the Move, or Global standard coordinate system.
Surface Snapping:
Snap the object to the surface of anyย collidable object in the scene๏ปฟ.
Properties

X Axis (side)
Activating the X Axis will provide a constraint in a direction side to side with the object.

Y Axis (forward)
Activating the Y Axis will provide a constraint in a direction front to back with the object.

Z Axis (up)
Activating the Z Axis will provide a constraint in a direction up to down with the object.

Grid Show
The Grid Show setting is the main visibility toggle for the grid located within the scene.

Grid Lock
Grid lock will lock the axis settings until unlocked to prevent unwanted changes.

Grid Snap
Grid Snapping will activate the position, rotation, and scale snapping for incremental changes.

Object Snap
Object snap is the default snapping setting for when dragging in a new asset and it snapping on top of an object in the scene.
